🏁 Survival Knockout – How It Works
🔥 Survival Knockout Overview
- All players present at the start of the event are automatically registered to compete.
- Format: 3 rotating maps | 4 rounds per map | 1-minute warmup before each map.
- Objective: Survive as long as possible while avoiding elimination.
🎮 Gameplay Rules:
- All players start with 3 lives
.
- At the end of each round, a percentage of the lowest-ranked players lose 1 life
.
- The elimination rate is dynamic, adjusting to the total number of participants.
- Example: If 60 players start, the bottom ~18% of the rankings lose a life each round.
- Estimated Duration: ~45 minutes (≈26 rounds).
- When a player runs out of lives, they are automatically moved to spectator mode.
🔹 HUD & Interface Features
📊 Live Standings Panel
Players can track real-time splits on the Live Standings panel displayed on the right side of the HUD, showing position changes and updated lap times.
⚠️ Eliminated Players (DNF)
If a player fails to complete a round (DNF), their name will appear in red at the bottom of the standings for greater visual impact.
📢 On-Screen Announcements
After each round, a standings panel appears in the center of the screen, showing all surviving players and their results.
👀 Spectator & Team Overview
Players who are eliminated or those spectating can click the button above the Live Scores panel to view the remaining teams, players, and their current lives.
Eliminated players will have their names displayed in gray.
📊 Real-Time Position Tracking
To enhance the player experience, a dynamic position tracker appears above the game’s default split times:
- Green Indicator → You are safe, above the elimination threshold.
- Red Indicator → You are at risk, below the elimination threshold!
Before the next round starts, an animated countdown appears to allow players to prepare.
🏆 Final Standings & Results
At the end of the event, a final leaderboard will be displayed, showing the order of eliminations and final rankings. This will be used to assign points to the teams.
